Deconstruct and re-constructing

For this task I deconstructed this image and discussed lighting and tools used.

I reconstructed this image as close as possible using similar lighting in the shot.

The shots below have been re-created using a dome multi light lamp and a normal white bulb lamp with a cream paper texture shade.

The difficulty I faced trying to achieve this shot was the lack of a full length tripod and softbox lighting, angles to position the two lights was tricky as it took time to get the right spot for both. Shadows on the face are unfortunately long from the nose across the eye but that is only position of the dome light below.

The many shots I have taken the timing of the shot to get this mark across the face was by fluke. Some shots came out blurred but the top three I have placed below.
